Welcome to the February newsletter
2008
is a leap year! The standard calendar used throughout the
world, the Gregorian, has both common years (365 days) and
leap years (366 days) with the extra day being February 29.
A leap year occurs every four years to help synchronize the
calendar year with the solar year (the length of time it
takes the earth to orbit around the sun - which is about 365
and a quarter days).
Leap Year Trivia
- there is a 1 in 1500 chance of being born on a leap day.
Approx 4 million people in the world have been born on a
leap day.
Why not give us a call to see how we can assist you to
